Reorientation Program for Employees

Date: February 28, 2025

On February 28, 2025, the Office for Human Resources and General Affairs proudly conducted the first batch of our Reorientation Program for Employees, a vital initiative designed to ensure that all Salesian Educators are fully equipped with a comprehensive understanding of our school policies, values, and expectations. This session marks a significant step in fostering a well-informed and cohesive work environment, empowering our educators to excel in their roles and contribute meaningfully to the school community.

The Reorientation Program was carefully structured to address key aspects of the institution’s operations and culture. The session covered several important topics, providing clarity on essential policies and expectations:

  • Distribution of the Existing Employee's Handbook: Educators received an updated copy of the Employee’s Handbook, which serves as a central reference point for school policies, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Detailed Review of Company Policies and Procedures: In this segment, the participants were given an in-depth review of the school’s operational policies, ensuring they understand the rules that govern their professional conduct and the processes they must follow.

  • Code of Conduct: A crucial part of the program, the Code of Conduct was revisited to emphasize the importance of maintaining professional behavior and aligning with the institution's core values. This helps promote a positive and respectful workplace for all employees.

  • Compensation and Benefits: The session provided detailed information about the compensation structure, benefits, and any updates to the school's provisions for employees. This ensures transparency and allows educators to fully understand the support available to them.

  • Conditions of Employment: Participants were also briefed on their employment conditions, including job expectations, rights, and responsibilities within the school. This section aimed to create a clear framework for mutual respect and collaboration.

By offering clear and comprehensive guidance on these key topics, the Reorientation Program is designed to empower our Salesian Educators, ensuring they thrive in a productive and positive work environment. This program serves as a foundation for fostering a culture of excellence, where employees feel supported, informed, and aligned with the school’s mission and values.

The successful completion of this first batch of the Reorientation Program reflects our commitment to professional development and to creating an inclusive, transparent, and well-organized workplace. As we continue to offer this program to all employees, we look forward to further strengthening our community and ensuring that every Salesian Educator is empowered to contribute to the success and growth of our institution.
